Bantuway started in 1996 as a business to fill the vacuum created by the growing number of Africans in the United Kingdom, without any specialised African butchers to cater for their specific needs in the food processing industry. e Africans or what we may refer to as the Bantu tribes of Africa have a demand for certain food products which must be met. Having surveyed the market thoroughly, we concluded that we do not only need to satisfy our special needs, but there is a need to do so in the most hygienically controlled environment, to meet strict international standards. At Bantuway Ltd, we believe in the importance of providing a quality product. That’s why every product we sell is guaranteed to be exactly as described and to arrive in good condition.

For centuries, the Bantus have mastered a special way of preparing meats and fishes to ensure that they are nutritious and safe to eat. The Bantus covering West, East down to Southern Africa, ensures that meats and fish are prepared to exhume that natural scent to make cooking specially delicious.

At Bantuway, we constantly understudy the way of the Bantus. We scan round the world for the best quality meat and fish that will satisfy the Bantu way of life. No other butcher in the United Kingdom can boast of this.

Our ultra-modern factory situated at 56 North Woolwich Road, Silvertown, London E16 2AA  (see Contact Us page), provides a clean high-tech environment for the processing of our food products. Today, we have outlets in London and Manchester. Plans are on the way to expand to other African countries like  D.R Congo in the not too distant future.
